Abstract

The genera Hydatothrips and Hoodothrips and the species Hydatothrips sternalis and Hoodothrips lineatus, are reported for the first time for Cuba on leaves of Guarea guidonia (L.) Sleumer and Platyginey hexandra (Jacq) Muller Ark., respectively, in a protected zone, in San José de las Lajas, Havana Province.
