Abstract

It was necessary periodically assess the quality of care that is offered to different levels of health and mainly in primary care level. One of the elements to be assessed is the quality of medical assistance and the service that is given, so it is necessary the assessment of the medical staff in their fulfillment. There is not a designed guide for this; and working is carried out trying to create one in our province that allows us to do an assessment in high quality fulfillment and with adequate validity and equity. For this work, criteria and experiences of a professional group in some health areas of Camaguey city, Florida and Nuevitas were gathered using active techniques for achieving this objective. Afterwards, a professor staff analyzed the statements and created the first version of the assessment guide. A trial of this field was performed and the definite guide of competence assessment and fulfillment was created. It is explained in this work.
