CABRERA VILLALOBOS, Yanelys; ALBORNOZ LOPEZ DEL CASTILLO, Carlos M  and  HIDALGO HIDALGO, Siomara. Current therapeutics for temporomandibular disorders. AMC [online]. 2002, vol.6, n.2, pp. 194-202. ISSN 1025-0255.

Management of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) has been one of the most difficult problems odontologists have faced. There are various types of therapy; most of them have been effective in controlling symptoms, at least, at short - term. Non- surgical treatment continues being efficient for the medical care of the great majority of patients who presented pain and temporomandibular dysfunction. In this study, we present a current general vision of the behavior to follow with these disorders of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Keywords : TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDERS [therapy].
