Abstract

An investigation of Health Services of descriptive type was carried out with aim of elaborating an educative interventionist strategy for health promotion and in the prevention of oral diseases during pregnancy, we took as reference a previous work in which the educative needs in the 55 pregnant admitted in the four Maternal Homes of Camagüey municipality were determined .Based on the educative diagnosis and identifying the main problems of oral health associated to pregnancy, a matrix DAFO was constructed and through in the internal forces of the health sector (strength and weaknesses) and the external forces to the health sector (opportunities and threats) were identified, taking into account the experts criteria. With the analysis of it, the objectives for the strategy as well as the strategic problem through the elaboration of an action plan were determined .It was proposed an evaluation system as to the educative interventionist strategy for the promotion and prevention of oral health in the pregnant.
