Abstract

GONZALEZ VIDAL, Elsie; LEYVA DIVIU, Angelina; ROSQUETE LOPEZ, Gricel  and  LONDRES FROMETA, Delfín. Thrombosis risk factors in the hemostasia. AMC [online]. 2007, vol.11, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1025-0255.

A bibliographical revision that undertook the theme of the failure that is produced, when the normal hemostatic mechanism is disturbed, was carried out, and as a result of it the hypercoagulability and the thrombosis appears, taking into account the importance of knowledge of the molecular bases that rule the hemostatic mechanisms in relation to the particular vascular alterations in the thrombogenesis, as well as the predisposing and at the same time contributor risk factors in this process are invoked, besides the tests recently advanced to explore these disorders. This investigation was carried out with a multidisciplinary focus, where the professionals or students that need to possess the theoretical tool in order to investigate in this extensive and deep field, count with it.  Due to the cerebrovascular and cardiovascular illnesses occupy one of the first world places in morbimortality, is considered important to revise the aspects of the hypercoagulability, hyperhomocysteinemia and the D dimer, that do not only constitute the etiopathogenic base of these illnesses, but worthy risk factors to take into consideration, at least for now, for the knowledge of the professional that render service in this prioritized sector.
