Abstract
MARTINEZ RUIZ, Carlos et al. Evaluación antiinflamatoria del flavonoide 2"- o- ramnosil 4"- o- metil vitexina en ratas. Rev Cubana Plant Med [online]. 2004, vol.9, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1028-4796.
In order to evaluate the antiinflammatory effect of flavanoid 2" -o- ramnosil 4" -o- methyl vitexin isolated from the leaves of Piper ossanum, a model of chronic inflammation was used in rats. The tested dose was 0.2 mg/Kg and the variable was the inflammation's percentage of inhibition. A significant antiinflammatory effect of the evaluated drug was found compared with the control group. No differences between the flavonoid and piroxican (positive control used in the study) were observed. The significance level was fixed at a p smaller than or equal to 0.05.
