Abstract

The case of a 52 year-old patient is presented, with a history of hypertension for five years. She visited the consulting room for presenting bleeding at the tongue level in repeated occasions, caused by small traumatisms. In the physical examination telangiectasia was evidenced at the tongue level and cheeks, as well as in the fingertips of her hands.
