Abstract
ALMANDOZ PARRADO, Julia E; RODRIGUEZ MAZA, Felipe; PALACIOS ATENCIO, Jorge and DIAZ RODRIGUEZ, José A. Biological Effectiveness of Fungicide/insecticide Thiamethoxan 20% + difenoconazol 20% + mefenoxan 2% PS on Insects and Diseases of Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris Lin.). Fitosanidad [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.3, pp. 211-218. ISSN 1818-1686.
The formulate product thiamethoxan 20% + difenoconazol 20% + mefenoxan 2% SP was evaluated for the treatment of been seeds at the doses of 50 + 50 + 5, 100 + 100 + 10 y 125 + 125 + 15 g a.i./100 kg of seeds. As a standard treatment a mixture of imidacloprid + benomyl + TMTD (70 + 50 + 80) to 490 + 150 + 150 g a.i./100 kg of seeds and a control without treatment for comparing were used. The doses of 100 + 100 + 10 and 125 + 125 g a.i./100 kg of seeds showed low indexes of Empoasca krameri, Bemisia tabaci and Diabrotica balteata mortality from1.8 to 2 individuals per plant, until 35 days of germinated, whereas the standard reached indexes from 4.3 to 6.25. Moreover, with higher doses there were not occurrences of plants affected by Rhizoctonia sp., Macrophomina phaseolina, Colletotrichum sp. and Alternaria sp. which it signified that a greater protection to this crop was obtained. This compound at doses of 100 + 100 + 10 and 125 + 125 + 15 g a.i./100 kg of seeds increased yields respect the standard in 245,69 and 414,55 kg/ha, respectively.
