ARAGON-SULIK, Manuel; ESCOLERO FUENTES, Oscar; NAVARRO MENDOZA, Susana and ORTIZ GUZMAN, Margarito. Geographic distribution of arsenic in the aquifer of Central Valley, Oaxaca, Mexico. RIHA [online]. 2015, vol.36, n.1, pp. 102-110. ISSN 1680-0338.
Total arsenic was identified and its geographic distribution was assessed in the aquifer of Central Valley of Oaxaca, Mexico. Samples were taken in water wells for human use and consumption that exceeded the Mexican Official Standard. By the technique of atomic emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma a maximum value of arsenic of 174 µg/L was obtained. In the samples no correlation was obtained with others metalloids or elements.
