Abstract

The integral management of real losses of water has been given great relevance in the last decades by the agents of water companies. This is because the demand of water is globally increasing and the sources of the natural resource are diminishing. This work describes the use of a methodology oriented to the management of real losses of water applied to a case study. In themethodology, management of the pillars of losses is exposed as applied to the case, and the practical results of the referred methodology are demonstrated and its importance for a correct administration of the water on the basis of a rational use of the resource.
