Abstract

This paper is a partial result of the collaboration between Mexican Research Groups working in the project “Housing Network” funded by the Ministry of Public Education of Mexico, the project describes the construction of a tool for technology assessment, through the IDEF0 model and describes the conceptual relationship among the concepts of technological feasibility, environmental impact assessment and technologic attributes, through assessment instruments whose purpose is to foster the redesign and integration of green roof and rainwater catchment technologies with the specific needs of the Mexican housing.
