Abstract

The results of the International Workshop ALFA RED ADU_ 2020 by the group led by the teaching of Cuba are presented. The workshop was organized by the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil from 3 to 22 of October, 2013 in Barrio Astillero. This workshop was attended by 110 students enrolled in 5th and 6th semesters at the School of Architecture, which were organized into 11 groups, with equal numbers of local teachers and visitors from: Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Panama, Paraguay, Sweden, UK, and Venezuela. In these workshops, the working methods of the various guest lecturers are confronted, revitalizing its strengths, which helps to develop specific skills in students as creativity, raising awareness of the cultural and social role of architecture, among others.
