The use of multivariate analysis on teaching process is very effective to plan and execute educational actions having into account the variability of student’s characteristics. At the same time, it is important to develop better strategies, methods, procedures and teaching and evaluation means to increase the educational yield of students. So the aim of the current work is show the expected results of this techniques application and its relevance to increase the educational actions effectiveness. Applying the main components, the common factorial and the cluster analysis it’s possible characterize the learning stage of the students on research and investigate the patterns of their behavior. These results enable the redesign of the educational actions management and the execution of those ones that the student truly requires to get the best academic yield as possible.

Keywords : multivariate analysis; modeling; processes; learning.
