Abstract

GOMEZ-ACOSTA, Martha Inés et al. Characterization of the Logistics and the Value Nets in Cuban Companies in Managerial Improvement. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.2, pp. 212-226. ISSN 1815-5936.

Characterizing the logistic and supply chain level is a fundamental support for strategic development, not only for enterprises but also for the professionals training in these topics. The objective of the present article is to demonstrate that the use of reference models for logistic and supply chain, developed by the authors, is useful to characterize the level of those themes in the companies. The main methods that were used are: surveys, statistics, analysis and summary of data. As a result, a complete diagnosis is obtained with the different levels of logistic and supply chain concept application in a statistically significant sample of firms. The fundamental conclusion is that these models are validated and useful to characterize the aspects of logistic and supply chain in the Cuban enterprises, and constitute a guide to draw up development strategies.

Keywords : supply chain; logistics; value nets.
