Abstract

The current paper shows an auditing procedure for the university’s substantive processes, which constitutes an ISO requisite for quality management systems according to the NC 9001:2008. This procedure acquires special nature when the organization decides integrating the quality to other management systems. The objective is to expose the results in the application of the audit procedure of processes, from the perspective of the integration of the systems of quality and of internal control in high education institutions. The utilized methods were the work in groups and the documentary analysis. The present work is concluded with the results  of the suchlike application of evaluation of the management for the specific case of the process of PhD formation, that corroborate the category of excellence previously granted by Junta de Acreditación Nacional, showing the improving points.
