Abstract

MOREJON MESA, Yanoy; IGLESIAS CORONEL, Ciro  and  LEON MARTINEZ, Javier. It influences of the transportation distance and the number of means of transport in the stability and cost of the process harvest-transport of the rice. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2015, vol.24, n.3, pp. 39-44. ISSN 2071-0054.

This research was performed in the Agro-industrial Complex Los Palacios, being used the SAORCE-CTR system for the determination of the rational composition of the machinery that intervene in the process of harvest and transport of the rice. Taking five variants of transportation distances and two agricultural yields, was determined the influence of the transportation distance and the quantity of means of transport in the stability and cost of the process, for a brigade composed by three NEW HOLLAND TC-57 combines. Was obtained that for fields with agricultural yields of 3,2 t/ha, the economic total losses caused by the stops decrease when being used five means of transport in the transportation variants I, II and III in 1.88; 3.61 and 7.06 peso/h respectively, and that represents the 3.2%; 8,3% and 9,7% of the economic total losses when being used the current composition in the Complex. For the transportation variants IV and V the economic total losses for stops decrease when being used six means of transport respectively in 20.35 and 22.37 peso/h what represents the 22% and 23.6% from the economic total losses when being used the current composition. In fields with agricultural yields of 4.2 t/ha the economic total losses for stops decrease when being used six means of transport in each one of the transportation variants in 5.51; 11.93; 19.69; 31.3 and 168.32 peso/h respectively, what represents the 8.3%; 14.8%; 21.3%; 30.4%; and 67.1% of the economic total losses when being used the current composition of de Agro-Industrial Complex.

Keywords : rice harvesting; agricultural yield; economic losses.
