Abstract

RODRIGUEZ GARCIA, Manuel Reinaldo et al. Answer of the cedar (Cedrelaodorata L.) to different irrigation dose. Rev Cie Téc Agr [online]. 2015, vol.24, n.4, pp. 12-15. ISSN 2071-0054.

The present study show the behavior during nine years of a cedar parcel (Cedrelaodorata L) in association with plantain burro CEMSA, planted in August 2004, in the Unit of Technical Scientific Development of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering Research, located in the municipality of Alquízar, province of Artemisa. The irrigation treatments consisted on multiplying the Reference Evapotranspiration (ETo) for the Crop coefficients (Kc) with values of 1.0, 0.75 and 0.5 and a treatment without irrigation. The height and diameter values for nine years show differences statistically significant in favor of the treatments with Crop coefficients 1.0 and 0.75, with relationship to the Crop coefficients with value of 0.5 and the treatment without irrigation, being selected the treatment of Kc with value of 0.75 because it supplies the water requirements of the two cultures in association.

Keywords : reference evapotranspiration; crop coefficients; banana burro CEMSA.
