Abstract

ANTUNEZ SAIZ, Vivian Isabel  and  DELGADO FERNANDEZ, Mercedes. Integrated Quality Management Model in the Cuban Biopharmaceutical Industry: Experiences of its Application in two Organizations of the Sector. Cofin [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.2, pp. 1-17. ISSN 2073-6061.

The integration of management systems represents an incipient worldwide alternative for the biopharmaceutical industry. This practice has been partially introduced in Cuba, since only six organizations in the sector have a certified quality management system. In this regard, the objective of this research is to develop a model of integrated quality management for the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry, which establishes the integration of standardized management systems (quality, environmental, energy, safety and health at work and internal control) in the production plants of two organizations in the sector. This should contribute to its better performance and proper management aimed at their sustained success.

Keywords : integrated quality management; management model; diagnostic procedure..
