In this article indices are analyzed management as a tool to improve the quality of higher education institutions. the results of evaluations conducted in public universities, self-financed and co-financed from Ecuador in two moments where you get as a result of the evolution of some universities during the processes performed to change the category and an improvement in the indicators evaluated were also compared.
