CAPOTE LEON, Gladys Elena; RIZO RABELO, Noemí  and  BRAVO LOPEZ, Gisela. SELF-REGULATED LEARNING IN STUDENTS OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING MAJOR. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.2, pp. 44-52. ISSN 2218-3620.

One of the challenges in the formation process is the learning self-regulation. This investigation field allows supplying the needs which it implies to form students able to adopt autonomy in their formation and that they develop tools for a continuous learning. Beyond their academic life they should consider cognitive, motivational aspects and context elements in which he develops. This is why it is relevant to develop research directed to this purpose. The results from the application of a group of questionnaires are presented in the Industrial Engineering major of the University of Cienfuegos which allow to measure the learning self-regulation from the indicators of autonomy, control, motivation and the levels of satisfaction with the teaching process.

Keywords : Learning self-regulation; formation process; questionnaires; indicators; careers of engineering.
