Abstract

The dynamics of contemporary society, where technological changes are visible, confer relevance to organizational climate study, since there is a reciprocal relationship between the group atmosphere and the working environment in productive and service institutions. A ratio that becomes proportional for productive and quality indicators. This article is the result of a study carried out on this important subject at the Technical University of Machala. It aims to socialize its results, to contribute to the reflection, knowledge, dissemination and decision making in this regard in the university teaching scenario. For its development, it was used a methodological strategy coincident with the investigation process, which included: bibliographical review, digital documentary, surveys and empirical methods. The article offers an epistemological panorama of the subject and shows that Organizational Climate studies reveal its organizational descriptive and influential character, in the behavior of the people who form it; A movement that groups aspects such as practices, policies, leadership, conflicts, reward and punishment systems, control and supervision, as well as the particularities of the physical environment of the organization.
