Abstract

This scientific article is the result of an investigation and bibliographic review through the methods of bibliographic review and content analysis, the analytic-synthetic, the historical-logical, and the exegetical, all on the subject of school violence, but now, taking a tour at the world, regional and national level that also allows us to investigate the conceptualization of forms and modalities of school violence; also on its incidence, the factors that determine it. The incidence of school violence has not only increased, but has also diversified; even adopting new modalities and behaviors. The author recognizes the importance of creating strategies that help prevent and eradicate any form of school violence, which ends up affecting the personal, social and professional training of students at each of their ages; and badly forming their personality and capacity for positive integration into society.
