Abstract

Given the global health emergency caused by Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the behavior of Iberoamerican countries was analyzed in terms of South-South Cooperation (SSC) which is used as a mechanism of International Cooperation (IC), because of this, a descriptive correlational investigation was carried out to identify the measures adopted by each Iberoamerican State against the pandemic, this information gave rise for explaining the implications of the domino effect due to the decisions were taken in economic matters about the medical supply products and also the relevance of the economic support given by almost all these countries to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Finally, the need to intensify SSC initiatives as mechanisms for strengthening internal capacities is established, and a call is made to monitor and measure the projects worked out in order to know the real effect of these in each State.
