Abstract

BALEEIRO ALVES, Marco Antonio  and  MOYA PADILLA, Nereyda Emelia. Analysis of the budapest declaration from the perspective of the concept of technoscience in solidarity. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.3, pp. 612-619.  Epub June 30, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

This article aims to present a discussion, from the perspective of the concept of Solidarity Technoscience, in comparison to the political-ideological vision embedded in the Budapeste Declaration, created from the World Conference on "Science for the 21st Century: A New Commitment", held in Budapest, Hungary, from June 26 to July 1, 1999, under the initiative United Nations Educational, Science and Culture (UNESCO) and the International Council for Science (ICSU). It proposes a critical analysis of the Budapeste Declaration in order to explain the advances it has advocated. This discussion uses the bibliographic research methodology to gather the necessary arguments for its elaboration, having as main contribution to induce reflections for the elaboration of projects for the reorientation of research teaching agendas and extension of public universities under the orientation of Solidarity Technoscience.

Keywords : Solidarity technoscience; Budapeste declaration; Cognitive policy.
