Abstract

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO, 2015) recognizes that education strengthens the exercise of democracy and human rights, key elements for the development of global citizenship, which essentially allows to the subjects that are in educational contexts, to be trained to exercise an effective and responsible citizen participation, which helps to transform their society, therefore this work has the purpose of giving an account of citizen participation from the socialization processes of the secondary school students in a school in Pachuca Hidalgo, in the subject of Civic Education and Ethics, and another in Münster in the state of Norderhein-Wesfalen in the subject of Religion.
