ABSTRACT: The present article shows a number of definitions of the term and a proposal by its author. This article aims at explaining some components in the definition of political trust coming out of the political thinking of Fidel Castro. The close examination of this category turns out to be necessary considering the socio-political context in today's Cuba. The changing economic and social processes that are implemented face the leadership of the country with major challenges, which conditions the need of counting on the people's support in getting higher goals. The work that is in front of the readers discusses about one of the major subjective factors for the revolutionary political practice and for the stability of the empowering of the Cuban revolution.
