Abstract

CABALE MIRANDA, Elizabeth  and  RODRIGUEZ PEREZ DE AGREDA, Gabriel. Sustainable Development in Construction Activity. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.2, pp. 40-51. ISSN 2308-0132.

In this article, a critical exposition of the successes, mistakes and perspectives of the concept of Sustainable Development is made, because it is a propitious vehicle to spread and promote awareness at the international level of the deep environmental and human crisis that ravages the planet. Likewise, it values the implications in the constructive activity of such perspective of development, as much of the activity on a global scale as in Cuba. Aware that the practical achievement of Sustainable Development starts from forming a scientific knowledge of the natural and social reality in which it is inserted.

Keywords : sustainable development; economic growth; ecodevelopment; constructive activity.
