Abstract

BERNAL COLLAZO, Irma María. Influence of the Movement of Workers' Cures in Latin America. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.2, pp. 130-139. ISSN 2308-0132.

The article analyzes the influence that the Movement of Workers' Cures has had in Latin America in 1944. It analyzes the importance it had of other movements in the American continent such as the Movement of Priests for the Third World in Argentina, Missionary Team in Chile, Golconda in Colombia, among others. The pertinence of his study can be appreciated, since this movement implied not only the transformation of the workers who worked with these priests but also the transformation of the priests themselves, their re-reading of the Gospel, their final choice for and with the oppressed, who had to some extent influence in the Second Vatican Council.

Keywords : Movement of Workers' Cures; Liberation Theology.
