Abstract

SANTIVIAGO ANSUBERRO, Carina; DE LEON NICARETTA, Fabiana; MOSCA DE MORI, Aldo  and  PASSARINI, José María. Towards a new model of vocational occupational counseling. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2018, vol.6, n.3 ISSN 2308-0132.

Since its emergence approximately a century ago, occupational Vocational Guidance has witnessed important conceptual and methodological advances, becoming a specialized field, with different ways of approaching it, of understanding subjects and their processes of choice. This work raises a new methodological theoretical approach, proposing the generalization of Occupational Vocational Guidance as a model that should not be limited only to the orientation towards the formal educational system, but rather to have its task diversified and made more complex, making it possible to include in it the most of the subjects that in different instances and moments of their lives need guidance, to address the construction of life projects, an orientation of the existence understood as a continuous activity of personalization, combining the individual, social and political dimension, in search of a development society, positioning the Occupational Vocational Guidance in all educational policies.

Keywords : educational policies; student orientation..
