RODRIGUEZ GARCES, Carlos; MUNOZ SOTO, Johana  and  PADILLA FUENTES, Geraldo. Determining Factors in the Maternal Choice of Informal Care in Preschool Children. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2019, vol.7, n.1, pp. 155-166.  Epub Sep 01, 2019. ISSN 2308-0132.

This article analyzes the educational parental abstention, investigating the reasons reported by mothers to delay the decision of preschooling. Using logistic regression models, it explores the importance of institutional barriers and attitudinal profiles in relation to early school insertion, and how this is visualized as an alternative of simple care that is activated in contexts of need.

Keywords : informal care; care option; maternal labor force participation; preschool insertion; early childhood stimulation.
