Abstract

REYES HERNANDEZ, Javier  and  MOROS FERNANDEZ, Helena. Sociopsychological Diagnosis of the Organizational Culture at a Service Company. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2020, vol.8, n.1  Epub Apr 14, 2020. ISSN 2308-0132.

This paper presents a diagnosis of the organizational culture at a service company located in the Cuban province of Pinar del Río. A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted. The diagnosis shows that the organizational culture leaves employees very little room for innovation and creativity; communication is established through formal channels and according to the existing power structures. It also shows that employees’ greatest desire is for a high-performance culture and a culture of support to be created, with cooperation prevailing in interpersonal relationships.

Keywords : cooperation; communication; culture of power; interpersonal relationships; business subjectivity.
