Abstract

The economic valuation of ecosystem goods and services is a relevant issue today. It is the purpose of the international project "Incorporating the multiple environmental considerations and their economic implications, in the management of landscapes, forests and productive sectors in Cuba", to promote the generation of multiple global environmental benefits from the economic valuation of goods and services ecosystems, as an instrument for decision-making, through different environmental management tools. The objective of the work was the design and implementation of its training strategy, which will allow the formation of capacities that will lead to increase the preparation of decision-makers and producers in the introduction of their results. Its importance is based on the role played by the university in knowledge management with a multidisciplinary approach.
