Abstract

CEVALLOS-CHANCAY, Génesis Joselyn; VERA-VITERI, Leonardo Vicente; SANTANA-GILER, Freddy Eduardo  and  VERDECIA-CARBALLO, Enrique. Proposal of Activities for the Learning of Inorganic Chemistry with Alternative Laboratory Materials in the Curriculum of the Degree in Biology and Chemistry of the Technical University of Manabí. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2023, vol.11, n.2  Epub Aug 01, 2023. ISSN 2308-0132.

In this article, a proposal of activities for learning inorganic chemistry with alternative laboratory materials is made to strengthen the knowledge of the acid-base balance unit. To do this, experiments with self-made materials are proposed to link theory and practice. Through the application of different research instruments, the problem is identified, and through different bibliographic sources, scientific support is given to the different categories while experimental guidelines are developed using homemade materials, in addition to building an alternative solution to the problem found. The categories that support this study correspond to: learning process, teaching strategies and the subject of inorganic chemistry of the third level of the chemistry-biology pedagogy career. The research methodology was non-experimental, descriptive, explanatory of a bibliographic type, with a qualitative approach. The proposal is expected to enhance student learning, guaranteeing meaningful learning.

Keywords : proposal of activities; teaching-learning; laboratory practices; teaching of inorganic chemistry.
