In recent decades, interest in the incorporation of Corporate Social Responsibility in business management has grown. Companies must contribute to the development of the communities where they operate and minimize negative impacts on them. In Cuba, the sugar industry is a strategic sector for the economic development of the country, but few studies have been carried out on Corporate Social Responsibility in this sector. The objective of this article is to assess the practices of Corporate Social Responsibility towards the community of one of the company Agroindustrial Azucarera Boris Luis Santa Coloma. The study carried out made it possible to identify the deficiencies of Corporate Social Responsibility towards the community that are related to the offer of training courses and the dissemination of jobs for the community, the conservation of the sugar agro-industrial heritage and its negative impact on the environmental state of community. The results obtained allow an analysis of the current state of Corporate Social Responsibility towards the community, determining its main difficulties in order to work on its improvement.
