Abstract

BRAVO CAICEDO, Tania Nohely  and  CABALLERO VERA, Hernán Humberto. Didactic Strategy for the Improvement of Student Academic Performance at the High School Level. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2023, vol.11, n.3  Epub Dec 01, 2023. ISSN 2308-0132.

At present, it has been possible to verify through the academic results of high school students that there is an increase in low grades. This is due to multiple factors ranging from the intellectual, social, economic and family order. The purpose of this research was to design a didactic strategy to improve the student's academic performance at the Baccalaureate level. Theoretical, empirical and statistical mathematical methods were used that helped to better interpret the study problem and collect information from the subjects. The study population consisted of 32 high school students from an educational unit in the Canuto parish, Chone canton, Ecuador. As a result, a didactic strategy is shown which contains a system of activities and actions to be able to face the study problem. It can be concluded that the application of this didactic strategy will contribute as a great solution to the academic performance of these students.
