Abstract

VEGA CRUZ, Gilda María. The teaching-learning process of Physics in covid-19 period: An experience. RP [online]. 2021, vol.9, n.2, pp. 287-302.  Epub Jan 05, 2022. ISSN 2308-3042.

This article shows an experience carried out with first year students of the Automatic engineering career at the Technological University of Havana “Jose Antonio Echeverria”, CUJAE, who spontaneously expressed their intention to take the Physics I subject through distance education in the midst of the exceptional situation imposed by the covid-19 pandemic during the 2020 year. The isolation conditions caused by the pandemic and the request made by this group of students led to the use of different ways in the remote mode and different ways for conducting the teaching-learning process previously carried out in the face-to-face lessons and even at a certain moment, when epidemiological conditions allowed it, some elements of the blended lessons were used. The main objective of the work is to present the essential elements that make up this experience, the design of the teaching-learning process through distance education, the didactic resources used as well as the main results obtained which can enrich the teaching of physics in engineering in remote working conditions combined with blended lessons.

Keywords : didactics; physics; distance mode; blended mode.
