ECHEVARRIA HERNANDEZ, Ana Teresa  and  TRUJILLO FERNANDEZ, María Heidi. Integrative tasks of the electronic textbook “Comprehensive Attention to Patients in Pain”. RP [online]. 2021, vol.9, n.2, pp. 303-319.  Epub Jan 05, 2022. ISSN 2308-3042.

The textbook in electronic format "Comprehensive Care for the Patient with Pain" was designed as a teaching tool to improve the training of future specialists in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, on the subject of Pain, included in the 2nd year of the Plan of Postgraduate studies at the Hospital "Hermanos Ameijeiras". This article is aimed at proposing integrative tasks which include cards to facilitate the understanding of the contents. The population consisted of postgraduate students of the medical specialty Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the 2018-2019 academic year and the professors of the faculty. The chosen sample consisted of 40 students and 20 teachers. The precursors of the electronic book and electronic products used for educational purposes were explored. The Flip PDF Professional system was used as software. For the preparation of the tasks, the increasing degree of difficulty and thematic continuity were taken into account. Twenty-two tasks were included, 10 (45.4%) have a problematic nature and require the application and integration of knowledge and skills for their solution, the remaining 12 (54.5%) demand a mastery of creative reasoning from the student. It is concluded that the use of levels and supporting cards in the tasks has enabled the advancement of the postgraduate student of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation in the zone of proximal development (ZDP), they provide indicators for individual or group control and meet the necessary didactic and technological requirements.
