Abstract

PEREZ MARTINEZ, Maykop et al. Simulation as a method to improve the teaching-learning process of electrical circuits. RP [online]. 2022, vol.10, n.1, pp. 157-172.  Epub Aug 05, 2022. ISSN 2308-3042.

Abstract: At present, the Electrical Engineering career at the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, CUJAE, carries out a process of curricular improvement with the implementation of the E study plan, in which the essentiality of the contents is one of the fundamental premises for reduce training time and achieve higher levels of independence and protagonism of the student. In this new scenario, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play an important role by enabling personalized, collaborative and self-regulated learning in students. The objective of the article is to propose simulation as a method to improve the teaching-learning process of electrical circuits through the use of a graphical interface application derived from Scilab as a Learning and Knowledge Technologies (LKT) and for Empowerment and Participation (TEP). The study was based on a descriptive methodology in which the analy tical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods were used and the survey was used as empirical methods. For the processing and analysis of the collected information, the calculation of absolute and relative frequencies was used as a statistical method. The research was developed in the Electrical Engineering career with a sample of 50 2nd year students. The results obtained corroborate the importance of using the proposed method through the use of a graphical interface application derived from Scilab for the improvement of the teaching-learning process.
