PEREZ TORRANZO, Orlando; DEL VALLE GARCIA, Genoveva Marivel; ARMAS VELASCO, Camilo Boris  and  CARRASCO JIMENEZ, Teresa de Jesús. Integral calculus and its applications in civil engineering from Galperin's theory. RP [online]. 2022, vol.10, n.2, pp. 65-78.  Epub Oct 22, 2022. ISSN 2308-3042.

In this article, the authors evaluate the assimilation process of civil engineering students concerning the topic Integral Calculus, which is taught in the subject Mathematics, part I, at the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría, CUJAE. The evaluation is based on Galperin theory in order to successfully develop this topic and guide the students’ transition to higher levels of assimilation. Several scientific research methods were employed such as observation; data collection and processing as well as information search engines. Concluding, difficulties in the orientation and assimilation stages concerning this topic were identified and subsequently analyzed taking into account that they are not rigid because they develop considering the students’ progress in their learning process.
