160 patients with a clinical-radiological picture suggesting lung neoplasia was conducted. Fibrobronchoscopy was perfomed as a reliable method to detect this disease. Punch biopsy, exfoliative cytology, and bronchial lavage were used to obtain specimens for the histologycal study. Of all the patients studied, 112 cases were positive and a proper diagnosis by biopsy was attained in 90 of them
