Abstract

ADEFNA PEREZ, Radamés Isaac et al. The giant cyst of urachus present in the adult patient. Rev Cubana Cir [online]. 2009, vol.48, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-2945.

The urachus cyst is a congenital anomaly included among lesions originated by local or partial resistance of this duct. Is mainly diagnosed during infancy and its main complication is the infection. Authors present the case of an adult patient presenting with a cystic giant abdominal tumor, diagnosed as of urachal origin and treated by surgery. This matter is reviewed emphasizing on main features of disease treatment.
