Abstract

The benign cementoblastoma is a truer odontogeny tumor caused by cement according the last classification of OMS. It is an uncommon lesion accounting for less than 1% of odontogeny tumors. It is present in young people and it is located in the mandibular posterior area and it is associated with an eruptive permanent dentition usually to first molar, shows radiological and microscopic characteristic features and it is fused with teeth roots. This is the case of a man aged 25 with a benign cementoblastoma as well as a literature review. Lesion manifested as a round, radiopaque mass adhered to the first mandibular right molar. Tooth was pooled out and the lesion was removed without relapse in 3 years post-elimination.
