Abstract

The case of a 5-year-old girl with Freeman-Sheldon’s syndrome, whose relevant sign was microstomia, a pathological entity that may impede food ingestion, is described. She was treated by commissuroplasty with satisfactory results. Dieffenbach-Lexer’s surgical technique is explained in detail. No complications were reported. The patient is in good health at present.
