Acute yellow hepatic atrophy present of pregnancy is an infrequent complication characterized by fatty liver infiltration provoking an acute hepatic failure and other not lesser severe complications, and its frequent association with pre-eclampsia, and similarity with other disorders, make difficult diagnosis and a delay in pregnancy completion, a behavior present when disorder is identified. Authors made a matter review to increase our own knowledges and to improve diagnosis quality and management of pregnants with this severe complication.
