Abstract

ALMEIDA FRUTOS, Manuel et al. Enfermedad de Takayasu: Reporte de un caso estudiado por Eco-Doppler-Dúplex-Color. Rev Cub Med Mil [online]. 2002, vol.31, n.1, pp. 58-63. ISSN 1561-3046.

A patient suffering from Takayasu’s disease, a rare affection in Cuba, was presented. The diagnosis was made by duplex color Doppler echocardiography. The value of this technique in the vascular lesions of the neck vessels was proved. The sonographic characteristics found in this disease were described.
