Abstract

ALVAREZ GONZALEZ, Aurelio et al. Tratamiento del dedo en resorte con laserpuntura. Rev Cub Med Mil [online]. 2003, vol.32, n.2, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3046.

A descriptive clinical and therapeutic study was conducted among 76 patients with diagnosis of spring finger that were referred from the outpatient department of "Dr. Carlos J. Finlay" Military Hospital and treated with laserpuncture. 73 patients were females, the age group 40-60 was the most affected and satisfactory results were obtained in 75 % of the total. The diagnosis criteria, the foundations to determine when to perform a surgical or conservative procedure, the therapeutic action of acupuncture and the irradiation with laser are dealt with. Emphasis is made on our working hypothesis as regards the action of both procedures on stimulating specific points of acupuncture with low potency laser.
