Abstract
MIRANDA VEITIA, Bárbara R. and FIGUEROA LESCAILLE, Mercedes. Immunodetection of gangliosides in human fetal tissue by using monoclonal antiobodies. Rev Cub Med Mil [online]. 2004, vol.33, n.4, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1561-3046.
E1, A3 and P3 new generation monoclonal antibodies were used to know the location of molecules recognized by these antibodies in human fetal tissue. Fragments of fetal tissues with gestational ages between 12 and 24 weeks were also used. The A3 monoconal antibody recognized glial cells from the brain, cerebellum and bone marrow. The P3 monoclonal antibody recognized glial cells from the cerebellum and epithelial cells in the small intestine and in the smooth muscle of the stomach. The E1 monoclonal antibody recognized glial cells from the brain and cells from the small intestine.
