The paper briefly analyzes the development of the foreign investment as from the 90's, and exposes the enormous weight the international economic associations in force have, especially on sales, goods exports, and the country's direct revenues, derived from the introduction of technologies, investment, and the search of external markets. The paper emphasizes the need of foreign investment revival so that it can contribute to speed up the economic growth. The key for its launching is further described, which can be the recent passing of the decree which will make possible the progress of a special development area.
