Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the population fluctuation of aphids on common bean in Santa Clara, Cuba. Aphis craccivora Koch reached the population peak at fourth trifoliate leave with 47,30 % of aphids whereas Aphis gossypii Glover reached the maximum population level at pre-flowering and flowering with 42,80 % of aphids in each growth stage. Minimum temperature was negative correlated with A. gossypii while maximum temperature, relative humidity and precipitations did not influence the number of aphids.
