The present article aims at showing the evolution of the Sociology Work in the University of Havana, through an analysis of the main events that have taken places in its development and the up-to-the-moment results. Likewise, the current state of this specialty and the challenges it faces considering the complexity of the present context and the transformations that take place in the world of jobs, are both emphasized.
